■イメージトレーニング
You are a little tired after your long flight. You decide to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. After sitting down you look at a menu. You see many delicious sounding dishes on the menu and eventually decide to have the Rump Steak. A waiter comes to your table and asks you what you would like to have.
あなたは長旅に少し疲れました。あなたはホテルのレストランで夕食をいただくことにしました。席に座りメニューを見ると、沢山の美味しそうな料理があります。あなたは、ラムステーキをいただく事にしました。ウェイターがあなたのテーブルまできて、あなたが何を注文したいのか聞きました。
そこであなたはこう言います。
ラムステーキをいただきます
Staff: What would you like to have?
You: I’ll have the Rump Steak please.
■ポイント
今回のサンドイッチのパンはI’ll have
I will have ~ の省略形で、～を頂きます。～をくださいと言う意味です。
Will は後ろに動詞をつけて、将来未来に～をするつもりだという場合に使います。
Haveは食べる、買う、頂く、など自分のものにするあらゆる状況で用いられます。
■練習
オレンジジュース1杯ください
I’ll have a glass of orange juice please.
アイスティーを頂けますでしょうか
I’ll have iced tea please.
もうひとつ頂きます。
I’ll have one more.
今日のスペシャルにします
I’ll have today’s special.
サラダにします
I’ll have salad
これをください
I’ll have this please (pointing to the menu).
バニラをいただきます
I’ll have vanilla( ice cream)
それと同じものをください
I’ll have the same please.
あれをください
I’ll have that (pointing to something close to the listener)
コーヒだけでいいですよ
I’ll just have a coffee thanks.
