昨日、ある家族で仲の良い友人達の誕生日パーティーに行きました。同じ日に3人の誕生日を祝いました。子供２人と大人１人です。オーストラリアでは子供の誕生日はいつもにぎやかに祝います。殆どの親は家族や友達と一緒にパーティーを計画し、ケーキを準備し、皆誕生日の少年少女にプレゼントをあげます。

Yesterday, I was at a birthday party for some close family friends. We were celebrating the birthday for three people on the same day; two children and one adult. Children’s birthdays are always celebrated with lots of fanfare (lots of noise) in Australia. Most parents will organise a party with family and friends, prepare a cake, and everyone will give presents to the birthday boy or birthday girl.
