We are so lucking to be living in the age of the internet. We have immediate access to almost any information and we can get answers to our question very quickly. For you, studying English, the Internet can become your classroom, library and playground. Just 15 years ago things were very different. We had to got to the library and borrow a book do find answers to our questions.
Thanks to the Internet you can now learn English for free. There are many resources available online that will help you improve you speaking and listening ability. I have put a list together of free resources for you to try.
BrainPOP – BrainPop is a group of free educational membership websites with over 1,000 short animated movies covering the the subjects of science, social studies, English, mathematics, arts and music, health and technology. My son loves this website. He learns about many important and relevant subjects.
For you, watching the free lesson on Brain Pop will be great for your listening practice. You will also learn a lot of new words and learn who to explain concepts and the meaning of words.

Neighbours – Neighbours is a long running Australia television show.Watching a show like Neighbours will help you understand how native English speakers communicate and socilaise. When you learn a language it is important to understand the culture behind that language. I found this very important when I studied Japanese. I don’t think you can communicate effectively without understanding the culture and it’s people.
